Chronology of cameras Classic 35
Traduction de Manuel M
Initially, this brand related to simplistic cameras manufactured by Craftsmen' S Guild.
Then, the New-York distributor PEERLESS adapts it. So only of rare Nicca were engraved with its name.
With this Classic II, we are not any more in the domain of these splendid cameras, but in the “general public” domain.
This camera is in fact Wilmey m2, manufactured by Japanese company TAISEI KOKI Cameras (T.K.C) and also, except its cocking lever, a Kalimar A from Kalimar Inc, also manufactured to him by T.K.C. All the cameras manufactured by T.K.C have a plate with these initials.
General public? Admittedly… But it is nevertheless about a beautiful camera, very simple and without pretension, but with the original design, trend “Art Deco”, very pleasant and with the completion without reproach.
