Chronology of cameras Graflex

It was in 1905 that Folmer & Schwing Manufacturing Company , New York was acquired by Eastman Kodak to become Folmer & Schwing Division , Eastman Kodak Company , Rochester, New York. There are two models Graflex Stereo , one from 1904 to 1906 under Folmer & Schwing before the merger , the other, the Stereo Auto Graflex from 1906 to 1923 produced in the Division of Eastman Kodak .
Both models are very similar , the following points differentiate the second from the first

Button (1 ) exists on both models to control the focusing . In the second model , the button ( 2 ) acting on a rack ( 3 ) that allows the vertical shift of the lenses . The diaphragms of these are controlled by the coupling bar ( 4) that does not seem to exist on the first model (see reference Paine PR , page 14). The cap is secured to the cover of the device ( angle ) and inside ( 5 ) , instead of the conventional magnifying lenses, there are two prisms there are merging the two images formed on the ground glass and allow to see the final image in stereo . The model presented on this page is equipped with two Bausch and Lomb lenses (6).
