Chronology of cameras Tronic
On some camera models sold by Lidl, you may find a small adhesive label directing to the website www.kompernass.com. This company is distinct from Lidl but serves as its exclusive supplier for brands such as Silvercrest, Parkside, Tronic, and others. It also provides after-sales service for these brands. The full name of the company is Kompernaß Handelsgesellschaft mbH, and one might wonder if the initials "KH" found in the camera model names are not referring to the company.
The KH30 is a Big Finder type camera, meaning its viewfinder is oversized, providing the user with a sense of great brightness. Glasses wearers have also found it easier to aim. However, this brightness does not necessarily indicate the quality of cameras of this type. Typically, they are entry-level cameras, including those from major brands, and the quality is rather average.
The KH30 is nicely crafted, with a two-tone design and small metallic control buttons. The flash is triggered automatically, with a systematic red-eye reduction effect. It can be stopped or forced, even if the CdS cell determines that the lighting is sufficient.
