Chronology of cameras Butcher
This reflex camera model originates from ICA production. As it is available in three formats (CDV, 1/4 plate, and 1/2 plate), it corresponds to several models from the German manufacturer. They do not have real names, although at some point, one of them seems to have been called Tudor.
It is a focal-plane shutter camera, where adjusting the shutter speed involves selecting the width of the slit in the curtain and adjusting the tension on it. The two smaller formats have only three slit widths, while the 1/2 plate format has four.
The choice of lenses is quite extensive, leading to a considerable number of variations.
