Chronology of cameras Luttke und Arndt
The company Luttke & Arndt, founded in Wandsbek, a district of Hamburg, in 1895, specialized in photographic consumables such as glass plates, paper, and chemicals. They also manufactured cameras, likely in small quantities given the limited number that remains today. In 1905, the company became Arndt & Löwengard, and later in 1907, it was known as Leonar-Werke Arndt & Löwengard.

Cette chambre 9 x 12, au bâti en bois y compris l'abattant, est techniquement rudimentaire. Bien qu'il ait un armement et un déclenchement distincts, l'obturateur n'a qu'une vitesse instantanée avec les poses B et T. Et le diaphragme est un simple disque tournant percé de quatre ouvertures. Le petit chapeau sur une des colonnes de maintien de l'obturateur sert de molette pour régler le décentrement vertical, celui horizontal devant être effectué en poussant manuellement. La longueur focale est d'environ 140 mm.
Tout cela et un soufflet en simple carton renforcé pourraient détourner l'attention des curieux ; il n'en est rien s'ils voient l'appareil, parce qu'ils le trouveront fort beau !
