The Ansco Regent has nothing but the name Ansco because it's actually an Agfa Solinette II. The Sears catalog describes it as a Super-Regent without a rangefinder. This is accurate since the Super-Regent is an Agfa Super Solinette, meaning a Solinette with a rangefinder.
