Chronology of cameras Kodak

This Autographic Folding is particularly big and uses a special film "A116".
The Anastigmat lens with a 7.7 aperture gives quite accurately the date of manufacture of this camera, between April 1915 and July 1924 which is the end date for the production of this model.
The focusing system is unusual. It is necessary to estimate the distance of the subject and apply this distance, choosing the closest among those proposed on a strip that it is on the left front of the camera. The adjustment ends by turning the knob on the front of the slide, to bring out a pin which will block in translation the optical assembly support.
A version of this folding was produced in Britain from 1916 to 1917.
More than 80,000 units were produced.
