Chronology of cameras Nikon

The Nikon U2 is the Japanese market dedicated version of the Nikon F75D (F75 with the data imprint feature back).
The Nikon U2 was offered in kits including one or two lenses:
- Nikon AF Nikkor 28-80 mm f1:3.3-5.6 G
- Nikon AF Nikkor 70-300 mm f1:4-5.6 G (for kits with two lenses)
According to the user manual, the ML-L3 remote control was systematically supplied with the Nikon U2 body.

The Nikon U2 was available in black or silver (champagne) finish.

The Nikon Us / U / U2 series intended for the Japanese market seem to have only existed with the data imprint feature back and therefore correspond respectively to the N55QD / N65QD / N75QD (*) intended for the US market and to the F55D / F65D / F75D for the rest of the world.
With an identified exception for the special series Nikon U Agnès b. which lacks the data imprint feature back.
