Dans l'esprit, ce modèle est assez proche de l'Ebony 35, de Hoei. A défaut d'avoir une date de fabrication du Starrich, on se base sur celle du Ebony.
Cet appareil donne des négatifs 24 x 36 mm, mais un film de type Bolta. En façade, il y a la possibilité de sélectionner l'instantané ou la pose, et une ouverture parmi deux.
