Chronology of cameras Zeiss Ikon

At the merger of the companies forming Zeiss Ikon, the Ernemann Heag III goes into the Zeiss Ikon product line and remains there only a few months, before disappearing. It is a basic camera, with a wooden body covered with leatherette. The folding baseplate is made of metal. The Ernemann lens and shutter are low end. Focus is approximate. It is necessary to position the lens thanks to the clamping knobs which are at the base of the carriage, and to adjust an index on a small plate with the distances.
