Chronology of cameras Graflex

The Graflex Century 35NE is the version of the Century 35Nequipped with a light cell.
The settings of the film sensitivity , aperture and exposure time are on rings around the lens .
These three adjustments are mechanically coupled to a red pointer that moves the needle in front of the cell ; for a given film speed , it is sufficient to align the pointer with the index playing with the two other settings for a correct exposure.
In case of dark atmosphere, you can move the shade in front of the cell to increase its sensitivity, in this case you must use a second yellow index shifted at five IT to adjust the exposure. There is also a third white colour index shifted at two additional IT , but I do not know its function.

For the rest, the camera is very close to the Century 35N, but the integration of the cell makes it a little less smooth and simple than his little brother that I confess I prefer aesthetically.

There is also the decal with the words " Made for Graflex Inc. by Kowa Optical Works in Nagoya, Japan" stuck on the inside of the back.
