Eos-3000V astonishes by its size and its weight. It is very small and very light. Its ACL, integrated into the back, would almost make it do for a bridge of the beginning of the year 2000. It is however a complete silver photography reflex camera, and its very plastic manufacture does not withdraw anything with its other features. Thus, the autofocus system can be regulated manually on seven areas. The measure of the exposure can be done on 35 areas.
As most reflex camera amateurs of this time, it was sold in kit with a zoom 28 - 90 mm. Note that the integrated flash covers the focal distance of 28 mm. This kit in 2005 cost 199 euros. If one added one 90-300 mm with this kit, the price became 299 euros. A naked body (probably little sold as such) was worth 149 euros. It is obvious that the zooms present in these kits were not the best from Canon.
