Chronology of cameras Cambo

The family of monorail cameras Cambo SC (Super Cambo) has several members distinguished by their format: SC I in 6 x 9, SC II in 9 x 12, SC III in 13 x 18, and SC IV in 18 x 24.

The technical characteristics are similar across the board. Their high modularity (bellows, lens, shutter are interchangeable) and great freedom of movement (tilt, shift) of the front and rear parts make them suitable for highly demanding amateurs or professionals. They can only be used on a tripod. Focusing is done on the rear ground glass with great precision. This ground glass is removed to insert a film holder. The bellows extension can be increased by adding additional elements to the rail.

__________

The SC I camera is the smallest in the SC series with a format of 6 x 9, making it much more portable than the other models.
