Bencini Comet II

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.

The general form and dimensions of Comet II are identical to those of Comet S. Some esthetic details (position of the name, disappearance of a small plate of identification replaced by a gravage in the aluminum of the body…) distinguish, but the large difference, it is that on Comet II, the lens (f11) is assembled on an extractable tube. It has a speed (1/30 secondes) and an exposure B, whose selector is strange (see the page of Comet S).
We notice on the photograph, that sleeving falls apart. It is a regular defect of Bencini; undoubtedly due to the bad catch of the adhesives on aluminum.
