Chronology of cameras Cadot
This camera has a focal plane shutter, known as a plate shutter. The catalog page is not clear enough to determine the shutter speed with certainty. It is possible that it is 1/1500, but in doubt, we have only listed 1/150 in the technical sheet, which is very low for a shutter of this type and does not give it any advantage, nor justifies its name Zephyr. Cadot also used this name for a Klapp with a focal plane shutter allowing 1/1000 s.
This camera has a magazine capable of accommodating 12 plates 9 x 12. It is made of mahogany. The focus can be adjusted by rotating the lens mounted on a helical ramp.
