Le Canon Digital Ixus 400 reprend une partie des élements du Powershot S45. Cela en fait un 4 MP de qualité et de performances peu habituelles sous un si petit volume. Seul le viseur optique, qui zoome en même temps que l'objectif, est à côté de la plaque. On peut aussi regretter le temps, trop long, de l'enregistrement sur la carte mémoire.
