Le 960 iS remplace le 950 iS avec un capteur de 12 MP, au lieu de 8. Il s'agit toujours d'un compact haut de gamme, habillé de titane, avec un zoom lumineux, mais malheureusement pas grand-angle. La qualité des images est bonne, mais le mode Scène permettant d'utiliser le 3200 ISO est à bannir.
