Traduction de Manuel M

Ajax is one 6 X 6 which were declined in several combinations: Alsar 3.5/75mm lens or Saphir 4,5/75mm lens. These two versions “normally” are equipped with a ATOS shutter varying of 1s to the 1/300 of second.

The specimen proposed here, later, is equipped with an SYNCHRO-COMPUR shutter allowing of the exposures until the 1/500 of second. The presence of this shutter (what was done best at the time in term of central shutter) has something of a little incongruous on a camera of this category. It is a little as if one placed an engine of Ferrari under the hood of one 2 CV*…

*Note of the translator: the Citroën 2 CV was a French cheap car of the fifties.
