It is not very brilliant this poor old chap folding camera! It should be said that it well had to do 30 or 40 years in an unhealthy cellar, which was fatal with its bellows whose joining did not resist.
Unfolding of the bellows, and the setting of the shutter/lens block are automatic. A small lever actuated by the opening of the bellows causes the simultaneous opening of the frames viewfinder. Very class!
One will notice the grooved form of the legs of support of the front block. It is explained by the need for linking the flap and the block at the time of the automatic opening, while making so that it before the lens does not rub on the flap when the camera is closed.
