Coronet Le Polo

Traduction de Sylvain Halgand

If we compare the Polo with the Fildia or the Bobox, we can see that it is always about the same box made of cardboard and of the same lens. As on Bobox, there is no choice of diaphragm and no yellow filter. On the other hand, it gives the possibility to take 6x9 photographs (8 exposures) or 4.5x6 (16 exposures).
There is an uncertainty about the date of manufacture of this camera. In the Tiranty directory of 1937, there is a quasi similar camera, but the name “Polo” is not preceded there by the article “Le”.

The name “Polo” has been deposed by “La société Anonyme Spécialités Tiranty” 103 rue Lafaillette Paris in June the 12th 1936 at the clerk's office of the commercial court of the Seine.
