Ce modèle se voit peu en France, car au début des années 70 la marque est inconnue du public. Depuis des décennies Chinon est un sous-traitant pour d'autres marques connues, mais c'est seulement à partir de 1972 que le nom Chinon apparaît sur des appareil.
