Chronology of cameras Canon
Traduction de Manuel M
Canonflex R 2000 was marketed as from September 1960. (1962 in France)
It is the version upscale of Canonflex. It differs from this one by speed going until the 1/2000 second, which made of it the fastest camera of the moment.
Like Canon Flex of 1959, then Flex RP, a cell adapts on a shoe just in front of the serrated roller speeds. The barrel speeds is coupled with cell thanks to a notched edge. The adjustment speeds directly influences the cell on which it is necessary to regulate speed correctly. The ideal aperture, once determined, must be put back on the lens.
The interchangeable viewfinder preceded already F1.
RM (1962) has to be awaited so that the crank of cocking leaves the lower part of the case, not very practical location when one fixed the camera on a foot.
A beautiful good camera, as heavy as powerful, but of which reliability was not with return…
