Chronology of cameras Canon
Traduction de Manuel M
Canon EX-EE was an innovation, in France, in 1969. Its finality was to offer to the customers a reflex camera improved at an affordable price. For that, it was not equipped with real interchangeable lens, but with interchangeable optical add-ons.
The number of this add-on was restricted, since one finds mention only one wide-angle lens 3,5/35 mm, of one 3,5/95 mm and one 3,5/125 mm. The standard lens delivered with the camera was one 1,8/50 mm. If the choice is restricted, it offers however the essential for an amateur of the moment.
This reflex camera was equipped with a CdS cell positioned in the upper part of the prism. The automatic system of exposure, with aperture priority, was disengageable.
The EX Auto, purpose of this page, is a little more recent and has as for basis the EX-EE. It differs by an automatism with speed priority. It profits from the fast system of loading QL.
