Le Prima Super 28 est une version plus économique du Prima Super 28V. Il était exclusivement destiné à l'exportation hors du Japon. Son viseur ne contient pas d'affichage à cristaux liquides comme le propose le Prima Super 28V.
Pour 329,90 DM, le Prima Super 28 proposait une exposition entièrement automatique, un zoom 28 - 70 avec possibilité de macrophotographie, le chargement et l'avance du film automatiques, ainsi que la prise de vue en rafale.
